PERMITS AND INSPECTIONS

To schedule electrical inspections, please contact the electrical inspector, Tokle Inspections. Inspections can be scheduled online at tokleinspections.com or, if you don’t have access to the internet, by calling 763-200-6334 between the hours of 7:00 am and 8:30 am, Monday through Friday.

For electrical permits please use the appropriate application listed belowens in New Window . Electrical contractors must be licensed by the state of Minnesota. The permit fee is based on the work being done plus the state surtax and $9.50 administrative fee.

Mail (or drop off) electrical permits applications with a check to the address below or put in a clearly marked envelope in the drop box at City Hall:

Electrical permits can be emailed to building@maplewoodmn.gov if you would like to pay with a credit card. An additional non-refundable 2.5% credit card processing fee will be charged for all credit card transactions.
