Monday through Thursday - 8:00am to 4:00pm, Friday - 8:00am to 12:00pm
The Maplewood Police Department holds unclaimed property for 60 days. After 60 days the property is disposed of. If you have lost property or need to claim property, contact the property and evidence technician at 651-249-2558.
Property Release
Property is released by appointment only and is scheduled:
Monday through Thursday between 9 am to 3 pm
Unclaimed Property
The Maplewood Police Department periodically auctions unclaimed and abandoned property, including bicycles. Auctions will be posted publicly in the local newspaper and are handled through propertyroom.com.
Digital Evidence
Request for Digital evidence and Body Worm Camera Video should be submitted via email to the Property & Evidence Staff. Fill out the Body Worn Camera Video Request form below and submit via email:
***MN State Statute 13.825 (Portable Recording Systems) states that most data collected by a portable recording system (body worn cameras) are private data on individuals or nonpublic data and active criminal investigative data is considered confidential.
Please note that when requesting Body Worn Camera footage, the video will be redacted to ONLY the interactions of the data subject and law enforcement. EVERYONE else in the video will be redacted, both image and audio, unless they provide written consent via notarized letter. BWC Request Form
Fingerprinting Provided by the Property Staff
- Fingerprinting Services Provided for residents of Maplewood or those who work within the city
- Fee for Fingerprinting is $20 for 2 fingerprint cards
- Payable via cash or check ONLY
