The Street Division’s primary responsibility is to keep the city streets in a safe and good condition through snowplowing, sanding, crack sealing, sweeping and filling potholes within the city right-of-ways.
This division is also involved in the maintenance of sidewalks, trails, catch basins, ponds and stormwater sewer mains throughout the city.
Maplewood has 135.05 miles of city streets, 31.79 miles of county roads and 13.15 miles of state highways.
