Maplewood is transforming Wakefield Park into one of the City’s signature recreational spaces, with a new community building, additional picnic shelter, and other site improvements.

    Wakefield 4

The playground at Wakefield Park is scheduled to be replaced during the summer of 2019.  During the removal and construction phase (beginning at the end of June), the playground will be unavailable for use.  We estimate that the playground replacement will be completed on or before August 31st.

Thanks for your patience while we make this park an even better place to gather and play!
