Participation in the program does not assure any particular level of police protection. Participation does not guarantee the security of your property and is not intended to replace locks, lights security cameras and/or security systems. Participation does not create any special duty toward the undersigned on the part of the Maplewood police department, its officers or agents; and the undersigned hold(s) the Maplewood police department harmless for any claims arising out of any burglary, theft, loss or crime of any nature occurring on or about the/our property/residence while absent from the property and it is active in the house-watch program.
