Tree Care and Shrub Pruning Basics

Discover the basics of tree care from planting correctly to pruning for tree health and structural strength.  Learn how to prune native shrubs for natural attractive form, plant health and flower/ fruit production.  Recommended for those participating in the City’s Boulevard Ash Tree Replacement Program or maintaining rain gardens.  We’ll meet inside for a presentation and then practice outside.  Dress for the weather; wear sturdy shoes for a short hike and bring your own garden gloves.
