Maplewood Climate Adaptation Workshop Tuesday, March 16, 2021, 7 to 8 p.m. Virtual Meeting Via Zoom You can make Maplewood a climate resilient city! Your small step will have a big impact on our community’s ability to adapt to climate challenges. If trends continue, climate change will affect us all, bringing more extreme weather events that cause flooding, heat stress, and reduced air quality. Vulnerable populations, especially those with lower incomes and older residents, often withstand the worst of these extreme weather events.
- Get involved in our community planning today by going to Maplewood’s Climate Adaptation Plan review portal www.maplewoodmn.gov/climateadaptation. Read the introduction, and then pick any of the eight topics that you are most interested in and provide your feedback. These small collective steps will put our community ahead on this important project.
- If you want to get more involved, or know more about the plan, join us Tuesday, March 16, 2021, at 7 p.m. via Zoom for the Maplewood Climate Adaptation Workshop.
