Get involved with the Maplewood Nature Camera Club

Chasing Lights, with John Davis

Monday, January 27, 6:30 – 8:30 pm • Maplewood Library

When John Davis isn’t chasing wildlife, he chases lights, northern lights, celestial events, astrophotography, and star trails. His recent focus has been lightning. He’ll address storm chasing techniques, including keeping safe. He’ll also cover his favorite tools and camera settings. RSVP by January 24 by emailing maplewoodnaturephoto@gmail.com

Tentative Winter/Spring 2020 Schedule:

Saturday, February 22, 1 – 3 pm: Christa Rittberg, Snowshoeing and Snow Photography at Joy Park (Guided photography event)

Monday, March 23, 6:30 - 8:30 pm: John Anderson, Springtime Owls, at Maplewood Nature Center (Conversation with the photographer)

Saturday, April 25, 1 - 3 pm: Maplewood Nature Center (Guided photography event)

Saturday, May 16, 1 – 3 pm: Wildflower walk in Joy Park, led by Ginny Gaynor (Guided photography event)

The Maplewood Nature Camera Club (MNCC) is a volunteer group (with help from professional naturalists) dedicated to nature photography in Maplewood. All Camera Club programs are free and open to the public.
