Residential Alarm System

On December 10, 2018, Maplewood City Council approved an ordinance which removes the requirement for Residential Alarm System users to obtain a permit with the city.

Please be advised, while a permit is no longer required for a residential alarm system, users are still subject to excessive false alarm fees should a property have more than two (2) in a twelve (12) month period.  Additionally, users should ensure they maintain current contact information with their monitoring company for properly facilitation of any alarms.
