T'ai Chi Ch'uan

T’ai Chi Ch’uan, practiced in China for 2,500 years, uses slow relaxed movements to develop strength while eliminating tension. While doing so you will strengthen your arms and legs, improve balance and flexibility, reduce stress and help increase energy levels. A growing body of research also suggests that practicing T’ai Chi Ch’uan has many benefits resulting in relaxation, improved balance, and a significant improvement in quality of life! Come experience the benefits for yourself!

Note: Street shoes are not allowed on the studio mats.

  • Attended the International Taiji Forum 2006, in Thunder Bay, Canada
  • Started Tai Chi studies under Master Harold Davies
  • Studied Sword Form with Master Deema Chen
  • Studied Chen Style T’ai Chi Ch’uan with Master Deema Chen
  • Master Deema Chen placed second in the 1974 Wushu National Sword Competition
