The Maplewood Fire Department is a combined fire and emergency medical services (EMS) department consisting of 30 full-time staff. The department's administrative staff includes the Fire Chief, Chief of EMS, and Battalion Chief of Operations and Training.

Fire Codes

The City of Maplewood has adopted the National Fire Codes, the Minnesota State Fire Codes and the Life Safety Code for the purpose of prescribing regulations governing conditions hazardous to life and property from fire or explosion. (Ordinance Number 838)
